If you’ve ever wondered how sushi is made, wanted to try your hand at the art of sushi making, or are just looking for a fun and unique experience for you and your guests… You’ve come to the right place. KRFTD SUSHI will unravel the secrets of sushi, by giving you a hands-on class in making your own.

Here at KRFTD we love sharing our passion for sushi.

We believe anyone can learn how to make their own sushi, and what better way to learn than to try it yourself. We offer 3 different beginner friendly classes in the art of sushi making. Each of our classes run 60 or 90 minutes long and are filled with fun, entertainment and (of course) delicious sushi.

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED.

No experience is needed when it comes to our KRFTD Sushi Classes. Whether you’ve never cooked before, are a pro in the kitchen, or a junior chef in the making, all three of our intro classes are perfect for any skill level.

Learn from a professional sushi chef.

Each class is hosted and taught by our professional sushi chef who will teach you the history of sushi, the fundamentals of sushi making, and walk you through the various sushi recipes you will be creating.

We'll bring the food, you bring the drinks.

We provide all the tools and the freshest ingredients needed to begin your journey into the art of sushi making.  Just bring yourself, your guests, decorations if you’re feeling festive, & some drinks and you’re ready to roll. 

CLASSES

All three of our introductory classes will go over the history of sushi, teach you the basics and fundamentals of sushi making, and walk you step-by-step through the various sushi recipes listed in the class you select. You will create, assemble, and roll your own sushi, and at the end of the class you will get to eat your creations.

Each class can accommodate a minimum of 6 people up to a maximum of 12 people. Each person will be provided with their own sushi station, complete with everything needed to make sushi (tools, utensils & ingredients). In addition to the sushi station and fresh ingredients, we also provide the dinnerware, table setup and chairs. A typical class will run either 60 or 90 minutes depending on your class selection (with an additional hour before and after the class for set up and clean up).

THE BASIX

An introduction to sushi making, The Basix class is the easiest of the 3 classes we offer (making it the perfect choice for any junior chef).

This class will cover the history of sushi and teach you the fundamentals of sushi making. You will also learn the techniques used to prepare basic rolls. 

In The Basix class, you will be making 3 different types of sushi:

  • Veggie Kappa Maki Roll
    (seaweed outside)
  • Hand Roll
    (cone shaped roll)
  • California Roll

THE CRUNCH

The Crunch class teaches you everything covered in The Basix class (sushi history, fundamentals, & technique) but takes it one-step further. In this class, you will get a more in-depth look at various knife skills & sushi cutting techniques.

Along with teaching you the 3 basic rolls, The Crunch class will also show you how to make a crowd favorite, the infamous Crunchy Roll.

In The Crunch class, you will be making 4 different types of sushi:

  • Veggie Kappa Maki Roll

  • California Roll
  • Crunchy Roll

THE PREMIUM

The best intro to sushi class you will ever experience.

The Premium class will teach you all the history and skills covered in The Basix & The Crunch classes, with the addition of your choice of our top quality fish.

Choose from Albacore, Salmon, and (our class favorite) Tuna, you will learn how to create a flame seared specialty roll… And you will be holding the blowtorch!

In The Premium class, you will be making 4 different types of sushi:

  • Veggie Kappa Maki Roll

  • Specialty Flame Seared Roll
